Three month course of general laparoscopy fellowship

Office of Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in collaboration with Laparoscopy Training Center is holding a 3-month course of laparoscopy fellowship.

 

Course duration: 12 weeks

  •  Workshop duration: 3 weeks
  •  Clinical art duration: 9 weeks

2) Laparoscopy Surgery Program in Amir A’lam Hospital:

  • Visiting patients before operation, ground round & individual visit
  • First month: attendance in surgery room (observer)
  • Second month: participation  in laparoscopy operations (hands-on)
  • Third month: doing operations like gallbladder, appendicitis, etc. & being an assistant in more professional operations

Benefits:

  • The participants receive a fellowship certificate from the office of Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs at Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
  • First transfer from the airport in Tehran to the international dormitories.
  • Place of residence: Laparoscopy Training Center including bedroom, Wi-Fi,refrigerator,TV, tea maker, microwave & recreation facilities like ping- pong and hand football.
  • Breakfast is available.

 

 

Requirements:

  • This is a post graduate program and the participants should be general surgeons.
  • The applicants are requested to submit TUMS online application form to apply for this program.
  • Regular attendance: 7:30 -16:00
  • Transportation is on participant (from Laparoscopy Training Center to Amir A’lam Hospital).
  • Course Fee: $5000
  • The food expense is not covered (you can call and order from a nearby restaurant).
